REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.

Welcome to the Wreaths For Mountain Home (TN0243)'s Wreaths Across America Page.

On December 19 at 09:00 am, 2020, Wreaths For Mountain Home (TN0243) will be helping Mountain Home National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by placing Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes. Volunteers will be on hand to provide directions. Please observe proper distancing, and wear your mask.

As a “3 for 2” group, our only goal is to place a wreath for every Veteran buried at Mountain Home National Cemetery.  For every two wreaths sponsored through this group, Wreaths Across America Foundation will donate a third wreath to Mountain Home.  That means 100% of your $15 sponsorship will go to provide a wreath to Remember and Honor our Veterans at Mountain Home.

To provide a wreath to remember a specific Veteran at Mountain Home, please contact one of the following individuals:

Jeanette Scalf (423) 430-6548; Pete Headley (423) 926-2233;              Scott Foster (423) 741-9934

Questions about the Saturday wreath placement? Contact            David Carter (423) 349-4622, or Allen Jackson (423) 753-4165.

Please help us to Remember and Honor as many fallen heroes as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor Wreaths" button above, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

Thank you so much for supporting the Wreaths For Mountain Home (TN0243) and Wreaths Across America!

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Mountain Home National Cemetery . Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself.

Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:

We are committed to ensuring the safety of our community and are not holding a WAA Day Ceremony at our location this year.

The public is invited to begin laying wreaths on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020 at 9am.

Social distancing is to be observed and masks are required.

  • Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
  • Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
  • Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
  • We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up.  Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.

The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony, and thank you so much for helping Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
